Sire - Littorio

Littorio is the 1995 Grand Champion of the Holsteiner Verband, Neumunster. Littorio had outstanding suspension and gaits and is known for passing on beautiful heads, conformation and ability. His sire, Lord, is one of the most influential sires in the history of the Holstein and Littorio was one of his last remaining sons.

Littorio has produced Belgium's 2001 National Grand Champion filly foal, and also sired two finalists for the national freejumping championships at Melchen. These two finalists were selected out of 110 two-year-olds.
He also has two qualifiers for the Bundeschampionart 2003 and a finalist for the young horse world championships, in Monteray, Mexico.
Littorios family is ranked number one for producing dressage horses in the world with such relatives as Flemmingh. Gestion Lingh and Krack Z.

In New Zealand, Littorio progeny were seen mostly in the dressage arena. Primarily because he was imported as an older stallion and by the time breeders realised the huge potential of his progeny in dual disciplines, he had passed away.  His owner Paul Ffoulkes described him as producing top performers across the disciplines and his progeny really appeared to begin to excel later in their teens.  This led to a demand for Littorio progeny for breeding and competition.

Stallion, Luego GNZ was one of those sons who generated alot of excitment for Littorio bloodlines. Bred at Goldengrove Studfarm, ridden by Katie Laurie (NZ Olympic Showjumper) and owned by the Cookson Family, Luego GNZ won the National Grand Prix Champion Title in 2015 along with many top placings.
