Sire: Opium JW Van De Moerhoeve

Grand Sire: Kannan

Kannan's pedigree is a succession of greats from Dutch breeding with Voltaire, Nimmerdor and Le Mexico. Stallions that each guarantee the inheritance of excellent jumping qualities. Kannan's mother is Cemeta, a keur, preferent, performance mare by Nimmerdor out of the preferent mare Wozieta.

Kannan can look back on a successful career in top sport. Under the saddle of Michel Hecart, he won the French title in 2005 and took part in the European Championships in San Patrignano that same year. In addition, Kannan won the Grand Prix in Deauville, finished 2nd in the Grand Prix of Gijon, La Courneuve and Vichy and was part of the French team that won the Nations Cup competitions in Lisbon and La Baule.

As a sire, Kannan is one of the best showjumping horse suppliers in the world and is 7th in the WBFSH world ranking for show jumpers. Kannan owes this result to a large number of children who shine in the international show jumping sport, including the Olympic Champion and World Cup winner Nino des Buissonnets. Molly Malone has won several Grand Prix and World Cup competitions. Quabri de L‘Isle won the opening round of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and won several Grand Prix and Nations Cups. Quorida de Treho twice won the Helsinki World Cup and the Grand Prix of St. Gallen and Paris, etc.
