Zirocco Blue’s dam, Licorne des Forets, competed at the international 1.50m level and his grand dam, Gekas des Forets, not only competed at 1.40m level but was also called ‘the most winning’ 6-year old in France. Great-grand dam Rapsodie II also competed at 1.40m level.

Wherever Zirocco Blue competes all eyes are upon him with his scope, jumping style and efficiency. Under Jur Vrieling he has achieved several very impressive international results. They won the Team Gold Medal at the European Championship and individually were 5th. In the Las Vegas World Cup final they finished 10th. The World Cup of Oslo, the Grand Prix’s of Kopenhagen, Melsomvik (2x) and Geesteren, the Masters in Mechelen - all saw Zirocco wearing the winner’s sash. As a member of the Dutch team they won the Nations Cup of Rotterdam, Kopenhagen and Gijon. In the Dutch Jumping Championship he was 2nd.

Zirocco Blue performs exceptionally well in the sport but also in breeding.

Dam Sire- LANSING: Lansing was fully approved and licensed with the Holsteiner Verband,Oldenburg Verband and KWPN. An international Grand Prix showjumper and taken to victory with Bo Kristofferson as a five year old winning the prestigious Bundeschampionart (German National Showjumping Championships).In the Dutch town of Zwolle where the best stallions in jumping and dressage are found, Lake Bid, a son of Lansing was named best Holsteiner. Lake Bid was also 2001 Grand Champion Holsteiner stallion.Lansing is from the same mare and thus a half brother to the superstar stallion, Calvin Z, who has produced world champions at both age group levels and Grand Prix levels.  His dam, Monoline, also produced, Cantus, who sired the legendary showjumping gold medallist winner, Calvaro V and the stallions Come On, Callido 1, Callido 11 and Cascavel.Lansing was a beautiful grey stallion of very correct type with good movement and extraordinary jumping capacity with the ability to leave these qualities in his offspring.In New Zealand Lansing's legacy has become even more of a phenomenon. Another champion international sire owned by Goldengrove Studfarm until his passing several years ago.

Zola CSNZ has her dam's (Loretta CSNZ's) sharpness and balance with willingness and a level headed approach to life. She is brave and keen and would make a great speed horse as she matures.
