PL Pink Gin recieved a Merit award during the 2024 NZWB tour.

Sire - Dorian Grey TN

Dorian Grey TN Z’s sire Dominator Z is Christian Ahlmann’s Olympic asset. Dorian Grey TN Z combines Dominator Z with another great stallion from Studfarm Zangersheide: the famous Chellano Z. In the third generation we come across the stallion Notaris who guarantees top quality horses when present in the damline.

Dorian Grey TN Z’s dam Cegetti Z jumped successfully in sport herself and produced the international showjumper Darchello B ridden by Italy’s Paolo Zani. The Grand Prix showjumpers Phyra Z and Partner V2 were also bred from this same damline. Two half-sisters of Dorian Gray TN Z  received 85 points each during the studbook inspection.

Dorian Grey TN Z earned his breeding license in the spring of 2019 at Studbook Zangersheide. He stood out due to his excellent reflexes and great jumping technique. Dorian Grey TN Z catches the eye under saddle with his extreme quality, technique, light-footedness, and athletic ability.

Dam - Astek Ooh La La

Astek Ooh LaLa has Principal Mare Status for her achievements in Showjumping. She was bred by John Cottle and Sue Fowler from Astek Stud. She was a product of frozen semen breeding, by the French stallion Fetiche Du Pas out of a Ramirez mare Madonna. Her jumping career started with John Cottle and she was also formerly ridden by Julie Davey, Tess Williams and Lisa Cubitt. She jumped right up to 1.45m including the prestigious Lady Rider of the Year Class at the Horse of the Year Show.

She has won 3 event starts and even got 68% in a dressage test – proving that she’s not just a jumping star! Her filly foal by Cachassini II (called Cachava HS now owned by PL Performance Horses)  was presented at classification for 75%. Astek Ohh La La herself was awarded a Merit (78%) from Gerd Kust during the same tour.

Dam Sire: Fetiche Du Pas

Dam Sire - Fetiche Du Pas

Son of Le Tot De Semilly, Fetiche Du Pas was born in 1993. He was Vice Champion of France at 4 years and classified "Elite". In 1997 he was sold at the FENCES auction for a world record of 230,000 francs, (Over 1/2 a million NZ dollars). He went on to become the French 6-year-old champion with Eric Navet and in 2000, he won the International Grand Prix at 7 years of age in Dinard and Saint-Lo.
Tragically in 2002, Fetiche's successful jumping career was ended after a terrible road accident where Fetiche ended up in the middle of a motorway, completely stuck!

He was the combination Le Tot de Semilly and Almé, along with two Thoroughbreds, Night & Day and Furioso.
