Sire - PL DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

While PL Diamond in the Rough is only now rising four years old. He is maturing into a spectacular young horse in nature and ability. PL Diamond in the Rough has free jumped to 1.20m showing a lovely technique and scope true to his pedigree.  PL Diamond in the Rough was finished being broken in last year and has been hacking and a travel buddy at Show Jumping Camps and Clinics. He will begin some young horse classes in the Summer. Pictured Below PL Diamond in the Rough with breeder/owner Hayley Shaw.

Sire's Sire - Starpower TN

Thanks to Starpower TN, Germany’s best genetics are available to breeders! Ridden by Eva Bitter, sire Stakkato was among Germany's best horses for years and his offspring have excelled too. Just to mention some of Stakkato’s world-famous offspring: Spartacus TN, Souvenir, Satisfaction I, Filou de Muze and many other Grand Prix showjumpers. Grandsire Escudo I has also proven to be a valuable sire in Germany and Starpower’s dam 'Enjoy' is no less than the full sister to El Paso, who jumped at international level with both Markus Beerbaum and Daniel Heuer. Additionally, dam Enjoy produced Cian O’Connor’s rising star Saphir and the international showjumper Pegasus Athleta. Granddam Wyoming jumped at 1.40m and is the full sister of Grand Prix dressage stallion Frambeau and the aunt of Imke Schellekens-Bartels’ legenday Olympic Sunrise.

Starpower TN became the champion of both the 70-day test in Prüssendorf as the KWPN Performance Test. Starpower was approved by the KWPN with a score of 87 points, including a 9 for reflexes, rideability, attitude and talent as a showjumper. Later on, Starpower TN and Hanno Ellerman jumped successfully in all the young horse competitions, and ridden by Zoï Snels, Starpower TN made his international 1.40m debut last year. At the World Championships in Lanaken for 7-year-olds, Starpower TN showed his enormous scope and potential for the major Grand Prix level.

Starpower’s oldest offspring catch the eye with their scope and easy way of jumping and out of his first crop, already two sons were invited for the second round of the KWPN Stallion Selections.

Dam Sire - Corlando

His pedigree features some of the world's most renowned Holsteiners. These include Cor de la Bryere, Alme Z, Contender, Ladykiller, Ramiro, Marlon, Farnese, and one of the most influential Hanoverian stallions, Gotthard.

These sire lines have been huge influences in dressage and showjumping throughout the world.

Corlando's sire, Contango II, has had a major influence in warmblood breeding in Australia, with progeny being highly sought after internationally.

Contango II's sire, Contango I, won eight out of 10 grand prix dressage starts in the US.

Corlando's dam, Lamona (by Lander), has produced numerous top performers in both disciplines, including the Australian national dressage champion Fleetentanze, and the showjumpers Deutschlander and Landman. Lander competed successfully at grand prix dressage and world cup showjumping.

Sire's Dam: Rock on Lodge Lady

Rock on Lodge Lady is out of a Thoroughbred mare 'Check er Out xx' by Lansing. Her disposition barely displays any sign of refinement from her thoroughbred dam. She has great bone and form.
Lolly, as she is fondly referred to at home, is a lovely natured mare, with great conformation. Despite showing promise as a 5 and 6 year old  in young horse classes, I needed a quality broodmare and this ended Lolly's competition career.
Her sire, Lansing was fully approved and licensed with the Holsteiner Verband,Oldenburg Verband and KWPN. An international Grand Prix showjumper and taken to victory with Bo Kristofferson as a five year old winning the prestigious Bundeschampionart (German National Showjumping Championships).
In the Dutch town of Zwolle where the best stallions in jumping and dressage are found, Lake Bid, a son of Lansing was named best Holsteiner.
Lake Bid was also 2001 Grand Champion Holsteiner stallion.

Lansing is from the same mare and thus a half brother to the superstar stallion, Calvin Z, who has produced world champions at both age group levels and Grand Prix levels.

His dam, Monoline, also produced, Cantus, who sired the legendary showjumping gold medallist winner, Calvaro V and the stallions Come On, Callido 1, Callido 11 and Cascavel.
Lansing was a beautiful grey stallion of very correct type with good movement and extraordinary jumping capacity with the ability to leave these qualities in his offspring.
In New Zealand Lansing's legacy has become even more of a phenomenon. Another champion international sire owned by Goldengrove Studfarm until his passing several years ago.
